How to make a perfect Turmeric Chai Tea

Turmeric tea or popularly known as 'Golden milk' is a delicious, warm and grounding drink healing to the body and calming to the mind. This miracle drink has been consumed for centuries to boost immunity, soothe cough and cold, provide restful sleep and as an anti-inflammatory.

1 cup milk (2%, whole milk, or an alternative vegan milk of your choice)
1 teaspoon Heavenly Golden Elixir blend (use 1.5 - 2 tsp for a stronger turmeric latte)
Tip: Gently crush the cardamoms with a pestle for added flavour.
Sugar or Honey to taste (optional). For a healthier choice, add few strands of saffron.
In a medium pan, boil milk (or vegan alternative) with the turmeric blend for 5 minutes. This will enhance the flavour and the benefits of turmeric and the spices. 
Remove from the heat, strain the blend into a cup using a strainer and Enjoy!
For true indulgence, add few strands of saffron. 
Optional: For added sweetness, add sugar or honey. 
Iced Turmeric Chai:
Follow the steps above and let the turmeric latte blend cool in the fridge for 10 -15 minutes. 
Pour the cooled turmeric blend in a blender, add ice and sweetener of your choice.
Blend until creamy and enjoy it as a cooling beverage on hot summer days!
