1/4 cup water
3/4 cup milk (2%, whole milk, or a vegan milk alternative of your choice)
Tip: Gently crush the cardamoms with a pestle for added flavour.
Sugar or Honey to taste (optional).
In a medium saucepan, boil water with the chai blend for 3 minutes. This will enhance the flavour of the spices.
Add milk (or your milk alternative) and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat, strain the blend into a cup using a strainer and Enjoy!
Note: You can also make this chai using only milk (or a vegan milk alternative of your choice).
Follow the steps above and let the chai blend cool in the fridge for 10 -15 minutes.
Pour the cooled chai in a blender, add ice and sweetener of your choice.
Blend until creamy and enjoy it as a cooling beverage on hot summer days!
